Description
Based at our London office at a sociable and relaxed co-working space in Paddington, this position offers scope for development into new areas with the candidate taking a lead role in the design, sales, and marketing side of the business. The day to day handling of projects and producing of designs and estimates for clients will be coupled with site visits and responsibility for aspects including arranging production of marketing material, involvement in social media, and updating the website. Working with one of the company Directors in the London team, the role will be closely linked to the technical team in Oxfordshire and the factory in South London, and being a small company, there is the option for involvement in all levels of the company decision making process.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Experience working in a design-led role
Design qualification (product design, architecture, interior design, etc.)
Well-developed spatial awareness and good hand drawing ability
Proven experience with CAD software
Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
Experience working in a small team
Excellent communication skills and customer service
Excellent written English
Desirable:
Experience of curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, or interior design
Good maths or physics qualifications
Full clean driving licence & clean claims record
Experience of construction and building sites
Sales experience
Remuneration
Salary: £24,000.00 p.a., increasing after successful completion of probation period
