Mrs H. contacted Grand Design Blinds as she was struggling to find a company able to provide any good solutions for two gable windows in their barn conversion home. The windows were in the children's bedrooms, so blackout was important, and they wanted a solution that would completely clear the window when open, but electric Duette pleated blinds were beyond the client's budget. Venetian blinds were a more affordable solution, but would not retract fully, so we proposed manual shaped roller blinds in blackout fabric with a stiffening batten across the centre to minimise the fabric curl. The client's children picked bright colours, providing a striking appearance whilst solving the shading problems.
