This stunning family holiday home on the South Devon coast was designed with soaring apex windows to maximise the beautiful estuary views, however darkness was also required in the bedrooms, without losing any view. Previously the windows had heavy shaped roller blinds, which required several people to haul up and attach to the top of the window, which were labour intensive and susceptible to damage when the house was let out. Our solution was to install motorised Duette blinds, which unfurl down from the sloping sides of the windows - requiring no guide wires or cords, so the windows are left completely clear when the blinds are not in use, yet offering good darkness at night. The blinds are operated via remote control, ideal for waking up to those views from bed!
