Triangular Blinds

Triangular blinds are a speciality here at Grand Design Blinds, and something of a passion to us.

Triangle or apex windows often present a challenge for blind manufacturers and fitters, but we specialise in these difficult shapes and offer several options for you to choose from.

Pleated blinds or Venetian blinds are a popular choice.  They work similar to shaped gable window blinds, offering the ideal solution for your triangular windows.  Wooden shutters can also be made to a variety of shapes, hinging open or detaching with simple catches to allow window access.

Shaped roller blinds work great for simple, relatively small and symmetrical triangular windows.  They can be operated either electrically or with a cord and pulley.  Blackout fabric is available and these blinds make a perfect solution for blocking the light in a bedroom.

  • Yes, we do electric blinds for triangle windows. Most of our shaped Duette blinds are motorised as the mechanisms do not lend themselves to manual operation.

  • We always supply an initial estimate remotely. Simply send us an email with a photo of your window and the approximate sizes (width, tallest height and smallest height is usually ok), or architectural drawings if you have them.
