Handmade Blinds

Our pleated blinds are made chiefly by hand in small factories in South London and Kent, a labour intensive process requiring huge skill to ensure the correct shape and operation is achieved. The fabric is marked, cut, drilled, fitted to the headrails, corded, and tested entirely by hand – this is quite a slow process, but it is the best way of making sure our blinds are as close to perfect as possible.

Wondertree Gatwick

We are currently involved in the opening of the new Wondertree restaurant at London Gatwick Airport, our first airport project; we will be installing 16 Farrow & Ball painted Pinoleum blinds across the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the runway, all manufactured to comply with Gatwick’s strict flame-retardancy regulations. The restaurant will be opening in the coming months, following the success of the Heathrow branch, so keep an eye out!

New Blind Systems

We have introduced two new blind systems, designed with child and pet safety in mind. But as well as being safety compliant these new systems look great and operate smoothly.

LiteRise®
The LiteRise® is a stylish, tensioned product that functions with a simple push-up and pull-down operation. No cords mean that it looks clean and uncluttered, and it is the safest operating method on the market. This system works with both Duette and regular pleated blinds.

SmartCord™
The SmartCord™ system uses a patented retractable cord design that smoothly pulls the cord back into the head rail after use. This means that the single cord will return to a consistent length and will no longer fall dangerously to floor level. It looks elegant and has no loop, making these blinds far safer than previous corded systems. This system is available only in pinoleum and Duette pleated blinds.

The Week Magazine

Our penthouse project at Fitzrovia Apartments has been featured in The Week magazine's pick of the best rooftop properties in London. Our blinds were specified by the interior designers Fabled Studio for the joint-venture property development clients Manhattan Loft Corporation and Ridgeford Properties. The three-bedroom penthouse was listed at £6.75million and later sold. Click below to see our press page or view the project.
