Our client for this project had a very discerning eye, and she was looking for a discreet and minimal solution for shading their kitchen and utility room, for darkening their basement games and cinema room, and providing privacy in the master ensuite bathroom. Our classic roller blinds in a coordinating blue fabric, with remote-control motors, were the ideal option for the kitchen - softly filtering the sunlight to cut glare. For the basement skylight, a Duette cellular blind was recessed into the reveal, to emerge when required for watching movies in complete darkness. A Duette blind was also utilised in the bathroom, drawing upwards from the sill to offer privacy whilst still allowing a view of the sky from the bath, yet folding away to almost nothing when not in use.
