Mr & Mrs von S's timber framed house had several triangular gable windows, one in a child's bedroom, and these therefore needed a shading solution. The clients had considered plantation shutters, thinking this was the only solution, but wanted something that would not block as much light when open. Grand Design Blinds proposed a combination of aluminium Venetian blinds for the study and a simple shaped roller blind in blackout fabric for the bedroom. The finished product satisfied all of the client's requirements, providing discreet and variable shading for a reasonable price.
